Maternity cover - choir leader for Grown Up Choir
Responsibilities/details
- prepare and teach one session every two weeks, focusing on pop and musical theatre songs, with some folk/natural voice elements
- send one email after each session to follow up with important dates, taster information etc (template provided)
- songs will be pre-planned but can be changed by cover teacher at their discretion
- optional extra admin work available (approx. 4 hours per month)
- potential for ongoing class and cover teaching from spring/summer 2027
Venue
Northcourt Centre, Abingdon OX14 1NS
Schedule
Every other Wednesday from 20:00-21:15. Set up from 19:40, usually packed up by 21:30.
Dates may be extended but are currently planned to be every other Wednesday between 30th September and 13th February (excluding 23rd December).
Teaching fee
£55 per session, with an optional extra £50 per month for 4 hours register/recruitment/finance admin across the month.
Contract/employment status
Self employed with contract, with invoices sent to FCC either monthly or after each session.
